Individual training provided by homeroom teacher

 Homeroom teacher provides each student career guidance regularly. Also, teachers check documents for application and let students practice for an interview following their schedule for going on to the further course. Experienced teachers have professional ways of teaching

Orientation for the needs of each student

KOBE YMCA is along with each student to think what is necessary for their future path by providing them an orientation regularly when they are in beginner course. In intermediate course, there are various types of orientation such as for graduate school, college, technical college, and employment depending on the needs of each student. You can get some ideas for your future by attending these orientations even if you still haven’t decided your further course. Kobe YMCA provides students opportunity to think about their options.

Further Education Seminar

Individual consultation meetings are provided with guidance counselors from graduate schools, universities, and vocational schools who can provide information about admission requirements for these schools. Students can directly ask these counselors any questions they have about the admissions programs and content of admissions tests for each university. In addition, previous graduates of YMCA provide information about how to prepare and study for admissions testing as well as the atmosphere at various universities. YMCA counselors put much importance on helping each student determine the best route for active careers in the future.

Class for entering graduate school

Since the number of applicants for graduate school is growing, class for entering graduate school has officially started as an optional course in 2011. In this class, 2 teachers are in charge of supporting each student with making a research plan, writing a mail and preparing for interviews, which are required for admissions test.

Employment support

For student who wants to work in Japan after graduation, class to help student find employment has started as an optional course. In this class, teacher introduces student its original way of looking for a job in Japan and instructs them how to write an application form or resume, or to do a self-analysis. Taking this class makes it possible for student to register a dispatch agency or to attend a job fair. Take advantage of various opportunities for employment the class provides.
